He has twenty years of fund management experience, most of which was spent managing equity portfolios in Japan and the Pacific Basin markets. Previous roles have included fund management positions at F&C Asset Management, Henderson Investors, Threadneedle and Blackrock. Peter has managed a broad range of funds from pension and charity money to unit trusts and hedge funds. |

Chris started his investment career with the WM Company in Edinburgh in 1983 and four years later joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, which merged with BlackRock in 2006....
Chris held positions in the retail and private client areas of the business and was head of MLIM's Isle of Man office from 1999 to 2002, when he returned to London to work with institutional clients in both the public and private sectors.
Chris is a member and former regional president of the Securities and Investment Institute. |

Prior to this, Olivia was a client portfolio manager for the global equity product range at JPMorgan. An employee since 2000, Olivia joined as a graduate trainee. Olivia obtained a BSc (Hons.) in Natural Science from Durham University.

Philip Coggan writes the Buttonwood column for the Economist, where he is also Capital Markets Editor. Previously, he worked at the Financial times for 20 years, finishing as Investment Editor and writing the Short View and Long View columns.

Andy Reed
Director, Defined Benefit Solutions
Andy has 4 years experience with Prudential, having successfully implemented significant pension vesting transactions currently worth over £500 million per annum.
Andy is currently responsible for innovation within the Defined Benefit market, developing new routes to market. Andy led the transactions to secure £300m of pension liabilities from Goldman Sachs in July 2008 and the first £1 billion pensioner buy-in (with Cable and Wireless) in September 2008.
Andy is a qualified actuary with, over 20 years experience in the UK insurance industry. He previously held senior strategic, finance and actuarial roles at AMP (Pearl, NPI, LL, Hendersons) and Virgin Money..
